In Polynesian Mythology,”Tiki” was their first man, their Adam.  I can visualize Cousin Tiki as, ancient, wise, ornery, survivor, standing on the cliffs of his island overlooking his Pacific front yard.  He has welcomed ever-progressive waves of invasions from prehistoric outriggers to the tall ships.  Suffering the Japanese in WWII and now the tourist cruise ships, Meet Cousin Shoebox Tiki, “Ugah-Booga”
